Gene Simmons’ Son Plagiarizing Bleach

I know a lot of people are being politically correct and being skeptical about this issue, but I’ve seen enough and there is no doubt as to what is going on.

For those who don’t know :

“Gene Simmons (born Chaim Witz on August 25, 1949) is an Israeli-American rock bassist, vocalist, and actor. He is best known as “The Demon”, the blood-spitting, fire-breathing, and tongue-wagging bassist and co-frontman and lead vocalist in the hard rock and heavy metal band Kiss, a group he co-founded in the early 1970s.”

Ofcourse Kiss is a well-known band, and he is rich and what not, and so is by extension his son, Nick Simmons :

“Nicholas Adams Tweed Simmons (born January 22, 1989 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor, musician and comic book writer/artist.

Nick is the son of Israeli-born musician Gene Simmons from rock band Kiss and Canadian-born actress/model Shannon Tweed. He has a sister named Sophie, who is three years younger. He currently attends Pitzer College in Claremont, California”

He contributed a story for the comic book anthology Gene Simmons House of Horrors, the first issue of which was released in July 2007. At the San Diego Comic-Con International in July 2009, Radical Comics presented a special preview edition of Simmons’ own comic book Incarnate from the Simmons Comics Group. It was released August 1, 2009

What’s going on is this Incarnate bullshit is a total rip-off of Bleach! The guy is TRACING whole panels from Bleach manga and passing it off as his own work! For a DETAILED analysis of this son of a bitch’s “work”, check out this page.

To top it off the fag is on Facebook DEMANDING AN APOLOGY from people who accused him of his quite blatant plagiarism!!

Also, not only is he clearly plagiarizing Bleach but he’s taken storyline aspects from other manga such as Hellsing!!

Here is his latest tail-between-his-legs apology :

“Like most artists I am inspired by work I admire. There are certain similarities between some of my work and the work of others. This was simply meant as an homage to artists I respect, and I definitely want to apologize to any Manga fans or fellow Manga artists who feel I went too far. My inspirations reflect the fact that certain fundamental imagery is common to all Manga. This is the nature of the medium.

“I am a big fan of Bleach, as well as other Manga titles. And I am certainly sorry if anyone was offended or upset by what they perceive to be the similarity between my work and the work of artists that I admire and who inspire me.”

NOTE IN HIS PREVIOUS STATEMENT HE DENIES ANY KNOWLEDGE OF BLEACH!
