The Undisputed Truth

Ever notice that in almost EVERY Garena DotA room, regardless of it being USA, Europe, Caribbean, Australia, whatever, you’re bound to find a lot of Asians, particularly Filipinos.

Google Trends lists the following countries in descending order as those who search for “DotA” the most on Google :

As you can see, 6 out of the 10, or 60% of the top ten countries who are interested in “DotA” are in Asia.

You can’t say its because there are more Asians that Engish-speakers out there, because China with its population of 1.3 billion isn’t even listed there. The Phillipines only has a population of 96 million, almost 1/3 the population of the USA which isn’t even on the list either.

I don’t know how the hell Peru and Bolivia ended up on that list, most, matter of fact, all of the players I played against from those countries are uber-noob. Maybe they search for hero guides or something.
