Breakthrough in Missing Women Cases in Trinidad

Wow, positive news this week as great investigative work by police officers Supt Wayne Boyd, ASPs Johnny Abraham and Stanley Ramdeen led to the arrest of Samantha Persad (shown in left above, covering face with hair in white top)

Samantha Persad is 21, resides in Central Trinidad, is the girlfriend of Salis Mack the man accused of kidnapping Leah Lammy and works as a store clerk in Grand Bazaar, a local mall.

Police found nd found a bag containing several pieces of jewelry belonging to murdered teenager Gail Durity, and Sally Lobai, who has been missing since February 11. The woman received a stolen silver chain and a heart pendant valued $150, belonging to Lobai and two silver chains valued $200 belonging to Durity.

Police believe the woman was used as a decoy passenger to lure unsuspecting females to travel in a taxi. They were then robbed, sexually assaulted, and killed. Persad then apparently wears the jewellery or keeps it for some sick reason.

Apart from the jewelry, the other clues the police have linking the woman to the disappearance of the victims are phone records, which indicate calls were made to her from a cellphone which belonged to Leah Lammy.

This isn’t necessarily good news, as I think it can be assumed now that Leah Lammy probably suffered the same sad fate as Gail Durity and Sally Lobai, all for some cheap jewellery or a cell phone, but the good we can extract from it is that closure will be brought to the families of these victims and women are now safer with these scum off the streets. Human trafficking can also be put out of the picture (at least just for these cases) as the answer for why were all those women missing was simply the existence of a serial killer and a female “decoy” accomplice.

I can’t believe there are such sick fucks breathing the same air as I do and living around us. I am not for the death penalty, but I’m sorry, Samantha Persad and Salis Mack need to be killed. Allegedly my ass, this case is similar to the Craigslist killer case, if there are phone records from a kidnapped little girl’s cellphone to your girlfriend’s phone, I’m pretty sure you were responsible for her kidnapping.

If I had to choose something other than death, I don’t even know what their punishment should be because it just blows my mind how severe it should be. I just hope they don’t die in prison, let them stay there and contemplate the evil they did for the rest of their lives.

I remember I used to say I’ll never want to live in the US because sick people like Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy and Charles Manson were at one time just on killing sprees, evading authorities. Now I really have to wonder if Trinidad is any different. Is this part of becoming modernized?
