March 30th – Spiritual Baptist Day
April 10th – Good Friday
April 13th – Easter Monday
May 30th – Indian Arrival Day
June 11th – Corpus Christi
June 19th – Labour Day
August 1st – Emancipation Day
August 31st – Independence Day
September 21st – Eid-Ul-Fitr
September 24th – Republic Day
October 17th – Divali
December 25th – Christmas
December 26th – Boxing Day
Add to that the proposed holiday for the Summit of the Americas, Ash Wednesday (un-official national holiday), AND days off each worker takes and you’ll have a country which doesn’t work very much.
